Edgemont Village is one of the best areas to live in North Vancouver for families with children.

This community has a beautiful setting on the hills of North Vancouver, just beneath Grouse Mountain. Detached family  homes are the dominant in the area but townhomes and apartments  could be found around Edgemont Boulevard, which is the main road and shopping area of the community. This village area is preferred by retirees and  seniors downsizing who want to stay in the same area. This is a great place if you want to go for a stroll and shop around or stop by for a coffee or meal. Some of the favourite local coffee shops: Delany’s, Caffe Artigiano, BjornBar Bakery, restaurants: La Galleria Fine Foods, Nicli Antica Pizzeria, Kokomo, Red Tori and many more. There are gift stores, toy stores, kid’s book store, butcher, baker, speciality stores and  some big  name stores: Thrifty’ Foods,  Shoppers Drug Mart and district library here. The village has a special vibe, it feels like you are in a resort town. There are special events throughout the year, concert nights and outdoor movie nights during the summer and Helloween , Christmas and Easter events.

Edgemont Village is just a few minutes away from the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Capilano River Hatchery  and a short drive to the Grouse Mountain SkyRide and ski area. Many trails and bike routes in the area, Murdo Frazer Park.

There are excellent schools in the area: Highlands Elementary, Canyon Heights Elementary, Handsworth Secondary, Vancouver Waldorf High School.

If you are looking for a great community to live in, let us know, we have more information for you.
