If you like to be in close contact with nature but like to be close to all amenities and just a minute away to access to highways and bridges, Lynn Valley might just be your area. Pet lover? Bike, hiking enthusiast? You are just a few minutes away from Lynn Valley Headwaters and Lynn Canyon Park. Lynn Valley is located in the District of North Vancouver and sits between Mount Fromme and Mount Seymour. It is one of the longest established neighbourhoods of the District. The Town Centre has been through a huge change in the past few years. New high and low rise buildings were built in and around it, with commercial and community space. There is more diverse and some affordable housing choices for different age groups. There is Public Library, shopping mall with many stores and restaurants: Browns Social, Black Bear Pub, coffee shops. It is a pedestrian, bike friendly and transit oriented centre that was designed also for community gatherings.
In the greater area detached homes are the dominant housing type. Ideal for families with kids and teenagers. There are a number of great schools in the area: The Vancouver Waldorf School, Brockton School, Argyle Secondary, Lynn Valley Elementary, Cousteau School French International.
The main attraction is nature itself, that is just minutes away, everywhere you go. Hiking trails start from the Lynn Valley Headwaters Park, the largest regional park in Metro Vancouver. You can take different levels of hikes here, from shorter to longer but all with breath taking scenery and views. Visit the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge in Lynn Canyon Park, enjoy the trails and swim holes there. The bridge was built in 1912 and it is 160 feet high, a popular tourist attraction.
